I'm surprised no other review mentioned the CONSTANT 24/7 crosswalk beeping. From both the living room and bedroom, you hear non-stop beeping all day. This is not just "city noise." While the host was responsive, I expected much better given their multiple properties in multiple cities. I felt more like I was managing the property upon my arrival than just simply enjoying my stay. In 24 hours, I arrived to a 77° apt on a hot June day with an open window. The previous guest's dishes still sitting in the dishwasher. There was no hand soap in the bathroom-I purchased and left my own- and no paper towels and insufficient toilet paper. The host ordered and had delivered WAY more (48 rolls EACH of PT and TP) than one person could reasonably use during a one-week stay. It appeared they took the opportunity to restock the unit for future guests. Except I had to retrieve and carry multiple large packages of the supplies from the lobby up the stairs myself. One perk was walkable to Amtrak.
I had a great stay at Cozestay! It was very walkable, with nice restaurants literally outside of the building, and more one block over. The apartment was very comfortable, and the host was very friendly and responsive. All in all, a great stay-thank you, Cozestay!
The apartment is nice looking and well organized. The kitchen is equipped for you to actually use it including spices and oil. It is located downtown, so if you are looking for something quiet and private, this is not it. The windows are nice and large, but people can definitely see you in there from the building across the street. Also, there is a constant beeping noise 24/7 that comes from the street lights outside. If you have trouble sleeping, that could be challenging. The hosts communicated well, but there were some oddities. I checked in late and there weren’t any towels when I arrived and they were delivered to the door in a trash bag. There was no hand soap in the bathroom and there was a used wash cloth on the towel rack. Dishes were still in the dishwasher from the previous stay. There was also no top sheet on the bed. The door locks, but you can’t lock the interior second lock because it is loose in the door frame. Maintenance never came like they said.
